The Kids Academy Classroom Preschool curriculum introduces key early concepts through learning games, engaging educational videos, interactive worksheets, quizzes and more.
Subjects and some of the skills offered within them:
Math: Matching and sorting objects by different attributes, recognising and counting numbers from 0 to 10, identifying basic 2D shapes and tracing them, comparing quantities and understanding simple patterns.
English: Letter recognition and letter-sound correspondence, basic phonological awareness, understanding print concepts, developing vocabulary through common words and pre-K sight words.
Reading: Recognising rhyming words, building sight word vocabulary, comprehending simple texts, and engaging with nursery rhymes to develop language skills.
Science: Identifying weather and seasons, understanding the five senses, recognising plants and animals, and learning about health and the environment.
Social Studies: Exploring community and culture through arts and coloring, understanding history, geography, governance, civics, and good citizenship.
Chess: Learning chess basics, piece movements, special moves like castling and promotion, check, checkmate, stalemate, and basic tactics.
World Around Us: Understanding family, home, emotions, community helpers, seasons, weather, plants, animals, health, space, geography, history, environment, and road safety, etc.
