The Kindergarten curriculum supports early learning development through interactive worksheets, fun learning games, educational videos and other themed activities.
Subjects and some of the skills offered within them:
Math: Matching and sorting objects, identifying and naming shapes, counting and recognizing numbers up to 20, solving simple addition and subtraction problems.
English: Understanding and clarifying the meaning of unknown words, answering questions about stories read aloud, recognizing letter sounds and high-frequency words, forming simple sentences with correct capitalization and punctuation.
Reading: Recognizing print concepts and letters, identifying letter sound relationships and rhyming words, decoding words with accuracy, understanding stories and other genres.
Science: Exploring force and interactions, learning about Earth's systems, understanding plants and animals, recognizing the five senses.
Social Studies: Identifying community helpers and understanding community rules, learning about good citizenship, exploring different cultures and celebrations around the world, recognizing maps and world geography.
Chess: Recognizing the chessboard and piece positions, understanding how pieces move and capture, identifying check and checkmate, applying basic tactics and strategies.
World Around Us: Exploring weather and seasons, understanding the five senses and the human body, learning about plants, animals, and space, recognising community roles and environmental concepts.
